Hello everyone,

Thank you for following me through my journey in the Ohio Cleveland Mission. I have learned so much over the last 2 years. I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

My flight gets in to SLC on Thursday at 1pm.

My homecoming talk will be at 11am on Jan. 15 in Syracuse.

See you soon!

The 24th Month

Hello everyone,

This past week is one I will always remember. We had our annual Christmas conference inside the Kirtland temple where we sang many hymns and heard testimonies of missionaries, stake presidents, and many others. It was powerful.

Also, our recent convert Tyler was ordained to the Aaronic Priesthood yesterday so hopefully we’ll be making a trip to the Columbus temple soon to do baptisms. It’s amazing to watch him continue to grow in the gospel.

Seeing that it’s now the 24th month of my mission I have been reflecting back on the time I have served in Ohio. The Lord has blessed me more than I can say. I hope you all take time to consider the many blessings the Lord has poured out on you.

Here are two pics. One is with Elder Wynder (Director of Kirtland Historic Sites) and the other is my son, grandson, great-grandson, and great-great-grandson #OLD

I hope you all have a good week!

Sincerely,

Elder Gallegos

Tyler’s Baptism

Tyler was found through knocking on doors. I didn’t ever think you could find someone as elect as he is through knocking on doors. As he bore his testimony after being baptized, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. He’s 21 years old. Who knows, a mission could be in his future. It’s people like Tyler that make even the hardest moments of a mission worth it.

For behold, angels are declaring it unto many at this time in our land; and this is for the purpose of preparing the hearts of the children of men to receive his word at the time of his coming in his glory.

Have a good week!

All is well here in Ohio. We have a baptism this Saturday which we are very excited for. We found 5 new investigators last week! We are having lots of success here. It has also been cold and snowy. It starting to feel like the Ohio winter is settling in.

I hope you all have a happy Thanksgiving!! Eat tons of food and don’t forget to thank your Father in Heaven for all of your blessings.

Have a good week!

The Beginning of the Last Transfer

Hello everyone,

I never thought the day would come. I am on the final transfer of my mission! And tomorrow I will get a new companion. Things are going very well in our area. We have a baptism coming up in a couple weeks and the people we are teaching are progressing. Sorry for being so short I don’t have too much time. I hope you all are doing well! I attached a pic of us at Kirtland for a Veteran’s day program.

Have a good week,

Elder Gallegos

Novembre.

Hello everyone,

This past week was great! We attended the Columbus Temple and had several powerful lessons. Our investigator, Tyler, in the YSA branch committed to baptism for the end of this month. We are having great success in this area! Here are some pictures from the week:

This was from a hike we went on in our area today in Cuyahoga Falls. Love me some Ohio landscape!

I hope you all have a good week!!

This Week in Pictures – Kirtland!

Hello everyone,

Since I’m being more diligent with taking pictures, I attached some more pictures. This week was great. We were able to take our investigator Tyler to Kirtland. It was a very spiritual experience as Kirtland always is. The Spirit is so tangible as we entered into the School of the Prophets. I hope all of you can go to Kirtland and experience that. I hope you all have a good week!

Sincerely,

Elder Gallegos
