This past week was one to remember. We got invited to an Interfaith Council luncheon with several leaders of different faiths and the mayor of a town called Richfield. We taught the message of the Restoration to all these people and then ate lunch with them. It was truly something I will always remember. The Spirit was present as we testified of the reality of a modern day prophet and the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon.
Also, the primary of the North Olmsted ward asked Elder Jensen and I to dress up as Nephi and Joseph Smith for their sharing time yesterday. I had the privilege of being Nephi which was a lot harder than I thought! But it was fun. I attached some pictures.
We also found a new investigator. His name is Alex. His wife grew up in the Church down in Brazil where they met and she hasn’t been very active in the church for a while. But she was on the train in Cleveland when she saw some of our elders and took it as a sign that she needed to start coming back to church. So now we have the opportunity of teaching her husband, Alex.
It was a tender mercy from the Lord as we have been working diligently to find someone prepared!
Our Heavenly Father is aware of each and every one of our efforts. He will bless us.
I hope you all have a good week!
