Hello everyone!

This week I will hit my 5 month mark. The last week has been so hot and humid. I feel like it went from freezing to blazing hot in one week. It’s fun though! Lots of tornado warnings and crazy thunderstorms but we stay safe so nobody worry!

I hope all the mothers had a good mother’s day! My favorite mother’s day scripture would obviously be Alma 56:47-48 where the stripling warriors are about to go to war:

47 Now they never had fought, yet they did not fear death; and they did think more upon the liberty of their fathers than they did upon their lives; yea, they had been taught by their mothers, that if they did not doubt, God would deliver them.

48 And they rehearsed unto me the words of their mothers, saying: We do not doubt our mothers knew it.

Thank you to all the Moms for the sacrifices you have made in your lives. Our Heavenly Father appreciates you more than you could ever know. And a very special thanks to my Mom.

On Sunday we had dinner at the Gardine family’s home. Sister Gardine is from Mexico and she makes AMAZING Mexican food. Makes me feel at home. We ate posole which is a soup-like meal. She gave us aprons because she didn’t want to us to stain our shirts. So of course I get the girly apron. I attached the picture! I hope you all have a blessed week.
