How is it already May?

Hello everyone!

I hope you are all doing well. Not too much happened here in Findlay, OH this past week. It’s warming up very fast!

One thing I learned this past week is that the Lord continues to stretch us into who He knows we can become. Just when we think we got it down, He pushes us! Sometimes it’s frustrating but then I remember that He is very aware of what is going on. Being thankful for your trials is key in growing spiritually. There is nothing that our Heavenly Father will put us through that we can’t handle while leaning on Him. However, if we don’t lean on Him, then handling it by ourselves is very tough. So remember to look to Jesus Christ is every thought! Never doubt. Never fear.

Scripture for the week: Alma 16:16-17

16 And there was no inequality among them; the Lord did pour out his Spirit on all the face of the land to prepare the minds of the children of men, or to prepare their hearts to receive the word which should be taught among them at the time of his coming—

17 That they might not be hardened against the word, that they might not be unbelieving, and go on to destruction, but that they might receive the word with joy, and as a branch be grafted into the true vine, that they might enter into the rest of the Lord their God.

God is always preparing people to receive the Restored Gospel. These verses have helped me tremendously over the past week.

Put your faith and trust in the Lord and the blessings will be poured out upon you.

Love you all and have a good week!
