Greetings From The Ohio

Hello how is everyone doing?!

It’s finally warming up in Ohio. It’s pretty sad when 39 degrees feels like summer time but I’ll take it! This past weekend we had our Toledo Stake Conference. So Saturday night for the adult session we drove all the way to Perrysburg which is about an hour drive. And of course my ward choir got to sing for the special musical number. So there I was, in front of a ton of people, trying to sing. But it turned out to be an awesome experience!

During Stake conference, we got to hear from some great speakers. Something that stuck out to me that I thought I would share was spoke by President Carter, the temple president of the Columbus Temple. He said "There are a lot of people on the other side of the veil that are pushing very hard to have the blessings of the temple" We need to make sure we get ALL of our family names to the temple!! They are all waiting! Make the temple a priority. If you don’t have a temple recommend, make it a goal to get one!

One thing I learned this week is that every time we open and read our scriptures, Eternal Truths are revealed through the power of the Holy Ghost. Here is the scripture of the week:

Alma 12:10

10 And therefore, he that will harden his heart, the same receiveth the lesser portion of the word; and he that will not harden his heart, to him is given the greater portion of the word, until it is given unto him to know the mysteries of God until he know them in full.

I hope that every one of you can open your scriptures with a prayer and allow them to speak to you!

I love being a missionary so much. I love and miss all of you!

Until Next Week,

Elder Gallegos
