2 Month Mark, New Companion

Good morning everyone!

I hope everyone had a good week! Things are good here in the Ohio. Super cold and lots of snow. This week we were at 8 below zero and that was without the wind… So yes it was very cold with the wind chill. But I survive everyday and I love it!

We had an unexpected change in the Findlay district. We had an Elder get transferred and then my companion, Elder Bradshaw is now in the driving area with another Elder and Elder Allen came to the biking area with me. So now Elder Allen is my companion. He’s from Portland and he’s a very hard worker. I’ve learned a lot from him in the first week we’ve been companions! I look forward to serving with him.

This week we had a great experience with our investigator, Kelsey. We taught her the Restoration of the Gospel and committed her to pray about it. The spirit was so strong. It’s so amazing to see someone who is investigating the church be touched by the Spirit. You can see it in their eyes as they light up and know that what we are telling them is truth. As missionaries, we aren’t trying to talk anybody into anything! We are guiding them on their journey to find if it’s true for themselves. They can find that through prayer. All of us can!

Here’s a pic of crazy Ohio winter and then my new companion and I.

Have a good week everyone. Love you all!
